Updated Licensing Guidance for February 2022

DEFRA have refreshed the guidance notes that accompany The Animal Welfare (Licensing of Activities Involving Animals) (England) Regulations 2018 and these will come into force on 1^st February 2022.  This was referred to as a light touch review for which the purpose was not to make large scale changes and is ahead of the 5 year review of the Regulations (2023) which will start this year.

You will find the new documents that show the new wording of each guidance note here.  Please note that when uploaded onto gov.uk on 1^st February 2022, the guidance notes will be in a html format. We are asking Defra for a change log to make it easier for inspectors to see the changes.
