Fee Setting Guidance for Licensing

A working group put together this guidance document for the Animal Welfare (Licensing of Activities Involving Animals) Regulations 2018 after hearing from operators that the fees varied greatly across England. Local authorities are not charging to make a profit and only cover their costs which do have some differences within regions but on the whole it was felt that there needed to be some consistency across the country and a way of helping operators understand the charges.
